In just three short days, we'll be skipping town for our fabulous road trip adventure!
And are we ready? Oh heck no.
We still have to get the car windows tinted and get the stereo and sub woofer (that's right, the Scion's gonna be bumpin'!) installed. That'll get taken care of tonight/tomorrow. We're also buying a GPS device thingamajig, and I'm planning on picking up maps from AAA too, just in case. On Saturday the car will get the finishing touches (alignment and tire rotation) and we can get to packin'. Between now and then there's plenty of laundry and house cleaning to keep us busy! Oh yeah, and I think we still have to book some hotel rooms... But you know us, if we're not procrastinating we're not living.
Catticus will not be neglected while we're gone, we have a wonderful house-sitter taking care of him and the Love Bungalow. Of course I'll worry about him anyway, and if anyone feels like dropping by the house to check on him and report back to me whether he's still alive, that would be great, thanks! ;) Sigh... I'm just gonna to miss him!
Okay. Getting a grip...
Anyway, the course is plotted (thank you, AAA TripTik!) and we're ready to go, mentally at least. So make sure to come back here on Sunday (and every day after that) to see updates from the road!
